(no subject)
I've written a bit more on my grad school submission. (That is now submitted-- waiting to hear from them, but probably won't because I need to take the GRE, which I'm going to, but I'm not sure if its in time for fall. Oh well, there's always spring *tear*) Anyway, thanks to Adam, I've kinda gotten Heidi's angle. It's all written out and now we're back in Sara's point of view. At least now for the reader, the horse has a name.
Also, got a new idea brewing, and the characters are already talking to me. It's all thanks to Liz and her soc. project. So, the three main characters have theme songs. Unwell by Matchbox 20, Names by Goo Goo Dolls, and I'm kinda undecided on the third one. The character wants a total girl power song. I'm thinking the Whole She-Bang (by I think She-daisy) or Objection by Shakira (or Fool) the last two are less girl-powered, but there's reasoning. Heck, maybe they'll all go on the soundtrack. ;)
Working on Annabelle's backstory for Adam has been awesome. I'm having trouble getting into her voice though. (Maybe that's why I had difficulty playing her.) Anywho, as she's now out of the quest. She's joined Liftrassa in the dwarven kingdom as her lady in waiting. (quite the role reversal). So, now, the story is complete. It just needs to be written.
Got a new D&D character. She's evil (my first evil character ever--well, with the exception of Kiei, but we don't talk about her. She's an evil pixie. Should be interesting. Her name is Terran. She has an AWESOME backstory, but its really mired in the D&D pantheon. I'm wondering if I can extricate it and use it for something else. She would make an awesome villain... I'm kinda wanting to base Malein on her, but I don't know how that would work.)
