You were all obviously in it for some sort of friend search. That would be why you all found it to be rubbish. Cause for that purpose ... I imagine it would be. Plenty of people on it all trying to go one better than the person before. Editting their likes and dislikes and myspace poses on a daily basis! Despite this ... I think it's great for the following ::

- great for promoting your music if you've got anything worth putting out there.
- great for keeping track of bands you like ... upcoming gigs / releases / etc.
- hell, you might even get talking to some bands you adore. *beams*
- and along the way you might just come across some people worth talking to, who will lead you to other good bands ... and so on and so on.

I admit I was cynical at the beginning too. But if you have any interest in the above, then I don't see any reason to dislike the thing. You even have the ability to turn away people you don't like so they can't waste yourspace (see what I did there *rolls eyes*) ... something that would be useful in real life, yes.

wee clare :) you are right. ive heard 3 great bands i would never have discovered without the stupid thing! ah its quite a pleasant way to spend an afternoon really.
