Deep Fried Johnny
We went to see Freeze's band last night they've played several times now but this was only the 2nd time I got to go. They're doing much better. They are obviously more comfortable playing together.
I've emailed Freeze some interview-type questions so I can write something up like a press release for the local papers. I'll post the rough draft here of course.
What I know right now...I'll gladly share. Deep Fried Johnny is playing at The Depot on Broad Street in New Castle, Indiana from 10 to 2 on

Friday & Saturday August 25th and 26th

For anyone who doesn't know "Freeze" is John Freeze of Middletown Indiana, and my husband's friend. We went to see his band play last night and had a blast. I'll be writing more later. I just wanted to say if you like it hard and fast you'll love Deep Fried Johnny. They play lots of old and new and 5 of their own creation. The crowd favorite seems to be "Crazy Bitch" Made famous be buck cherry. Apparently drunk chicks really like it. I've heard them play it so much when I hear it on the radio buck cherry sounds like a cover, it just sounds wrong to me. Of course, I've heard the 5 originals so much now it feels like I should be able to hear them on the radio. Oh well, some day soon maybe!
