Klimt
Today's Google layout, or Go--le given the positioning of the characters. Possibly not one of their best as the image doesn't actually create the letters unless the figures' heads and enlongated bodies are meant to be 'g' but then they'd make 'gg'.
But anyway, liking this. I've liked this painting and many of Klimt's other works in similar style for a number of years. My room in halls had an Athena poster of this and Gareth sent me a series of postcard images with witty comments in an attempt to brighten my room and my mood.
I've always liked the combination of lifelike and accurate face and hands of the couple but the flat, draping collage of their clothes. Is this meant to be an amourous or passionate kiss ? Always seems forced and somewhat unwanted to me.
