Read on to here me geek out over the con I went to lol
So I've been to my second con, I loved it and can't wait till next year as I will be going again. although they have 2 a year, I think I'll be going to the October one again has the march one is a bit too soon after Christmas for me to be able to afford it. although the tickets are cheap (£12 for adult & £6 for 5-16) there is so much there so need a lot of spending money. If you live in the UK and wanna go to a con I really recommend it. It's called Stoke-Con-Trent, I'll post a like to their Facebook site at the bottom of the post.
I'll be posting the pics up sometime soon, just need to get my laptop sorted has its being a bitch and is not letting me view any pictures in my files (if anyone knows what this problem is and knows how to fix it, I'll be eternally gratefully :) ta). I had a total fan girl/geek out when I met Gareth David-Lloyd. He's such a sweetheart and I got an autograph and a picture with him. Meeting him was by far the highlight of my day. the second highlight was as soon as you walked in the main room there was a full sized Tardis. Me and my sister a geek out over that as well lol. There was quite a few actor/celebs there but never got to meet them as I didn't have enough money (due to being off after my accident and then our hours being cut back at work), but they had Thomas Ian Nicholas aka Kevin from American pie. Dave Prowse aka Darth Vader. Sylvester McCoy aka 7th doctor/radagast. They had the Beast from The Chase there and some more actors/TV personalities. They also had comic artists and set designers. They had K.I.T car from knight rider which was awesome, and the throne from Game of Thrones. I've got a pic of me sitting on it.
There was also some really great cos-players there as well. Yes Deadpool was there, actually there was 2 :) I didn't cos-play this year due to lack of funds T_T. But I'm planning on cos-playing next year. Not sure who as yet. I've got till the new year to decide has that's when I'll start to save up/start getting the stuff for the costume.
Anyway me and my sister had a great time and I'll hopefully have the pics up soon. Gonna go cuz I've got the dentist later n gotta be up early.
