killling time
okay, so monday, wednesday and friday ihave a class 9:30-10:30 and then nothing until 3:30. Soooo i sit around with lisa, lindsey and daniela for an hour. THen i go to computer science which im not enrolled in, i just feel like learning java if i can. SO today after i slept thru that class, i went to a different library than usual. Im reading this really upsetting book for Anthro and i need you all to help me save the world.
there's all sorts of terrible predictions in the book, which i will track down and mention to you but i will repeat the ones that stuck out most for me.
It is predicted that the last tree will fall in 2045.
We lose 66 acres of tropical forest per minute.
They are disgusting statistics and information about our pollution of the oceans and lakes.
Anyway so i have to stop reading and move around. Ive ended up on the top floor of this library and its really awesome. I love libraries. (spoken like a true nerd i know)
I really miss home At my realization that im extremely, almost unhealthily antisocial up here ive been trying to be nice and ya know, look them in the eyes and smile and talk to relative strangers, not to mention the people who live on my floor. But all its doing is reminding me why im antisocial in the first place, that reason being that everyone up here are assholes.
Now thats quite a broad statement and its not entirely true, however my rez is overrun with toronto private school kids who are a spoiled, fake clique. It is extremely annoying......
Greg left today, we had some fun, saw a magic show and went out a couple times. But im glad to have my space back thats for damn sure. Its really nice and warm out today, only -20 instead of the usual -35 that we've been experiencing.
OKay so everyone we need to devote ourselves to helping the environment because i vow now to die before the last tree and it looks like im living a short life.
