Spring Break is over. Poo bits! I did get a lot of work and play in, so it was good, but I can't wait for the semester to be over. I will be DONE WITH CLASSES FOREVER!!! Bwahahahaha. 'Bout damn time!
Saturday evening I went home so that I could go see King Tut with my parents in Lauderdale on Sunday. It's completely awesome, and if you haven't seen it yet, you should. In order to make it a day trip, though, we had to get up at 5 AM (NOT AWESOME). I fell asleep around 9:30 that night on the couch. Monday, I was hoping to spend with both folks again, but my dad had a laundry list of stuff to do, so my mom and I went shopping. I got 2 BEAUTIFUL dresses!!! Seriously, men. Take me out! I'm hot! Well, cute, anyway.
All though the week I worked 7 to 5 on my thesis, the discovery room, etc., but on Thursday I went to Jax to see Dara. Had a great time with her, even though we chickened out on the beach. She and Matt are getting a new place, and it should be gorgeous, outside and inside. I looked at paint samples and furniture stuff. *sigh*
On Friday, I agreed to go to Spearfish, SD this summer to do my internship. It's in the Black Hills, and looks beautiful, plus they are paying me (I THINK) as much as I get in a year at UF. (But it's 40 hrs/week instead of 13, so that's only fair). If you want to visit/camp/canoe/etc. let me know. Even Jim Idon'tcommittoanything Bradford said he'd come visit me. He's probably hoping to go to Sturgis Rally, but as long as he doesn't violate our don't ask don't tell policy that's fine by me.
Today I bought undergarments (gasp!) And made a good first attempt at the first chapter of my thesis. It will have to be longer, but I have to find and read more stuff so that seems fair.
That's the skinny. I am looking forward to a more relaxing week *fingers crossed*
