Yeah so my only exciting news, I got a 100 on that homework I bitched about on Thursday that had been moved until today. I was super nervous too because I never went to go over it with my TA and being that I had missed the lab that some of it was based on I figured I wouldn't do so well. But apparently not! :o) So my favorite part, he wrote excellent on top...excellent. This semester rocks so far and if it starts to not rock I will kill someone. You heard me. Kinda nervous about my Hydro test though, actually really nervous. I'm nervous about Structure too for that matter. This must not mess up the streak!
So quiz on Thursday and Chem test on Friday and then off to F-l-o-r-i-d-a, after the wedding of course. Now I know this trip will be awesome but it does throw things out of balance for me a bit though. You see I can't seem to stay in any one place for too long or I kinda start to lose it, which is why the breaks are so key for me. If I'm at school for too long I start wanting to go home and then when I'm at home I realize I want to be back at school and this is how the cycle goes. If I don't go home for spring break I'm kinda worried I will move into Albany hating phase. I'm thinking all that bachelor party nonsense didn't help. So I think I must go home for a long weekend after the trip sometime to fix that, or even better hopefully Florida will fix it somehow but I don't know about that. I mean it's still the same scene just moved down south. Anyway, just pondering that.
Another thought which I'm retarded for not having sooner, Stinks?! What am I gonna do with little Stinks over this vacation? I'm thinking I'm gonna have to stop home real quick on the way down and drop the turtle off with my parents. Its not that I don't trust anyone else but I wouldn't want to burden them really and Stinks is a chore. Plus I would just have an added worry on vacation which is not cool.
Oh yeah I didn't mention the rock show! I was working on a limited budget so I couldn't go too crazy unfortunately, but I did get a neat Pyrite "sun" which is a flat disk of Pyrite with a radiating pattern coming out from the center. I also got a rock with little radiating crystals of Quarts mixed with lots of really well formed little cubes of Pyrite. That one was a deal let me tell you. There was so much more I would have liked to get but man are rocks expensive. Rob got nicer rocks than I did, two with tons of well formed quarts crystals all over, but he has a Job. Yeah. Anyway I was pleased the show, except for the money part. I should just steal this shite from Earth Science. I work with rocks in lab that probably cost a whole bunch but I never think twice about it because lab sucks.
And finally, Bobbi-Jean got her tragus pierced too which was very awesome, although she said hers didn't really hurt which kinda sucks cause dammit mine sure did.
