(no subject)
I am actually going to update this thing. wow.
tonight Kyle and I went to his parents for dinner. His Dad just got home from Japan, and he brought home cool stuff for everyone. :) Kyle got guitar picks from Hard Rock Cafe Tokoyo, a F1 mini car, a little sword, a t-shirt, and a little Asimo robot. I got the CUTEST Hello Kitty doll ever - she's dressed up in a little pink kimono and she has this glass box that she sits in. Meg, seriously, you would be so jealous.. it's the cutest thing ever. We got to look at all of his really cool pictures. Japan is absolutely beautiful, I'd love to be able to go there. We ate dinner, watched House, watched the dogs play, and Kyle and I both zonked out on the couch. I love relaxing nights like that.
speaking of Kyle... his weekend in Chicago last weekend went really well. for those of you who don't know, which is basically everyone since I never update this damned thing, Kyle went to Chicago Thurs-Sunday of last week for his American Foundery Society conference. He's the president of the OSU chapter. Anyways, it was basically a big seminar/job fair, and he made a lot of great new contacts. Ashland Chemicals in Dublin seems really interested in him, which is fantastic, because if he gets a job in Dublin -- we dont have to move next year! yayyyyy!!!
I am SO proud of him. he's just killing himself with school, two jobs, and AFS, and trying to do the whole job search at the same time. I know it will all eventually work out.
Now onto me... not a whole lot is new. I schedule for OSU's winter quarter soon, as soon as I get the rest of my orientation paperwork in the mail. I got my acceptance letter last week - thank god. It's certainly taken long enough. Stupid transcripts. Work is good.. School now is fine.. I'm just stressed as usual, but, what college student isn't? I'm just trying to breathe, and make the best of it. There are certainly people with worse problems than mine!!
