I never went to college - I had a baby instead. I did want to, though. I think if you want to take a break you should. Just take a breather. : ) Hope everything goes well for you.

Don't get out. I know you are stressed but taking a quarter or two off usually leads to more quarters off, and then if you move out of state it will be even harder (and more expensive) to get back in. Take a few weeks, lose yourself somewhere, and then find a way to get back into it. Just change the way you think (easier said than done, but do it anyway).
Anyhoo, that is my two cents. I don't want to see you miss out on something that lots of people don't even have the chance to do. Good luck whichever way you decide though, see ya later, Brian.

Well, Honestly, I think that if you take time off, you are more likely to put off going back. It's just so easy to grow accustomed to the "out of school" lifestyle. My advice- just take like one class at a time until you get things figured out. That way, you're still in the rhythm of things without being overwhelmed.

I think I can add my two cents... fateinmyhands October 6 2005, 00:54:22 UTC
Well, take it from me. When people say it's hard to go back after taking time off. It's no lie. Look at me Sarah, I should be your inspiration! lol. I've been "planning on going" ever since I got out of High School. It's so easy to put off though and I haven't even started! I regret it everyday that I didn't make myself go right off the bat. Don't stop completely, maybe slow down a little, but don't stop. You are SOOO close to being done, just finish it and then you get a break! Try and find someone to car pool with. I'm actually getting myself in gear and emailed an advisor about getting started at CSCC.
Just keep telling yourself you are almost done,
you can make it!
And when you think about stopping, just think of me and remind yourself that you don't want to become a bum like me!!
