It's so glorious! I love it so much and have been playing it non-stop since they put it up on Monday. I'm so so proud of them boys. Brendon's voice! Spencer's drumming! All the awesome strings and percussion! So wonderful omg.
There's not a single track that I dislike from the album although I'm not to excited over The Calender. My current favourite track is definitely Hurricane. LOVE IT. Let's Kill Tonight comes close because I've been listening to the live version of it a lot before the studio version so I was a bit more excited over Hurricane instead. I kind of prefer Let's Kill Tonight live though.
Ready To Go makes me grin so hard for some reason. I don't know, it just makes me feel happy. And I actually love Sarah Smiles a lot as well especially the intro! Although I have to admit it feels kind of weird to be singing along to it. And like, it's not really a love song at all now, is it?? LOL.
And then there's Nearly Witches!! I think the studio version is amazing and I'm so glad they decided to put it on the album but I do miss the original version and wish we got the whole discarded cabin era album. Yes, still want all of it.
I have to admit that some of the songs do sound a little overproduced but overall I think it's a seriously awesome album and think they did a great job on it! Have I mentioned how proud I am of them? So proud! ♥
(I also wasn't too pleased with the way some of the songs ended but then apparently the original album has proper outros so yay I'm excited to hear them! \o/)
