First off, thanks to everyone that offered hugs and words of encouragement when I was being all homesickly. I feel better now. =) ♥
Secondly...
Another live!!
This time, the main band that I went to see was exist trace.
LOVE.
The end.
The atmosphere seemed kinda different, I guess because it was a paid live and I'm more used to going to free lives. There were less people, and it seemed like the people that showed up..I don't know what it was exactly. But it was different. They were slightly less...crazy? Seemed to be having less fun? Something along those lines.
Exist trace was the last band to perform. (And I really hope I'm not expected to come up with a super-long detailed concert report, because I'm no good at those.) Jyou seems to be better now, and the whole band was just AMAZING. I'm so glad she's recovered from whatever was wrong. It seemed like a lot of people brought her and the band presents, flowers and even a card that was passed around and signed. They did an encore, and after that, a stage hand came by and we all gave our things for the band to him (Cassondra and I wrote them a letter O.O Nihongo de. oy.), and I hope they get it all. The set was kinda short, but it was still quite awesome. There were actually a lot of foreigners there, I think mostly for exist trace. That was the first time that I saw any foreigners at Ikebukuro Cyber besides me and Cassondra and on occasion Momo. It was...kinda odd. But the performance was great. One of the best things about these livehouses here is that there's NO barrier between you and the band, so it's really easy for the band to interact with the audience and vice-versa. Feels so much more personal and fun that way. I was headbanging and random para-paraing and jumping around and gaaahhh...
Now my legs are numb and I've probably brained my damage and I'm having difficulty holding my head upright, but hot DAMN I wanna do that again.
Oh, before all of that, there was a band...whose name I can't remember right now, but the lead singer kept bothering me. O.O He pointed at me while he was singing 'ANAATAAAA~' which made me go O.O and then stare at the guitarist. And then after that he was talking about future lives and stuff and then he did thumbs up at me and was all OKAY??? all random and loudly, and I was all O.O *nodwhatev* and then he did the same to Cassondra, then he asked her if she was a man, and then said "Ah, onna..." and felt up his chest XD. Then a para-para song came, and I was choosing not to para-para (I decided to pay attention to the bassist cuz I liked the way he played), and then he jumped off of stage and stood next to me and stared until I para-para'd. O.O So I said okay I para-para stop looking at me O.O. So there I was para-paraing, and then he yells something into the mic which I did not understand para nada, and then he smacks me in the back O.O and I was all 'WHAT I'M DOIN' IT! JEEBUS!' And then he went back on stage, and we were paraing...and does a heart and he looks at me and he's all 'HAAATO!!' And I'm all... "..I KNOOOOW." XD Lol. He was odd. Fun band.
AND there was another band, whose guitarist was really blinkin' awesome and he reminded me of how Die plays, and then I really wanted to see Dir en grey again. I wonder if it's possible...
hmm..I really can't remember the names of notable bands right now. =\ Gaudie's lead singer was very obviously inspired by Kyo. Pretty neat. And...Veronica's lead singer was inspired by a wendigo. Or that thing from the abominable snowman movie. Or maybe it was a Christmas movie. Iono. But it was also pretty neat.
I think I'm officially mostly brain dead now.
And I have another show to go to tomorrow! And no school! I like them apples!
