“Hey babe! What’s up?” Christine says.
Michael replies with “nothing I’m going to go work on the car call me back later.”
Christine called him back at 8:30 finding that she woke him up.
He talks for a minute or two then yawns and says” hey call me tomorrow.”
That’s when she snaps she can’t take it anymore. Michael sighs and says “baby, don’t be like that. Ok, how was your day?”
“Fine” Christine replies.
They talk for about 20 minutes and hang up the phone.
Christine falls asleep thinking about Michael. She doesn’t want to lose him like she has lost all her other boyfriends. Michael is special to her and he knows that. In the morning when she wakes up she calls’s Michael, she is his alarm clock. He asks if she slept well, and if she had a good dream.
Christine giggled and said “yes, but it was because I was thinking of you.”
Christine and Michael talk every night for the next two months. Then the weekend finally is here again. Christine and Michael are invited to a Halloween party at their friend Frenchie’s house. There is beer and all kinds of alcohol there. Christine and Michael have a few drinks and in the morning wake up next to each other.
Christine wakes up first. She doesn’t know what to do. She has no clothes on and neither does Michael. It was their first time and she doesn’t even remember it. Well, maybe nothing happened she thought to herself. Christine wakes Michael up right away and asked him what happened. He doesn’t remember either. They then get dressed and go home. They try to remember anything but they can’t.
The following week Christine is supposed to have her period, and she misses it. She doesn’t think anything of it because she is irregular. The following month she starts to get sick and vomit. That’s when Frenchie takes Christine to the doctor. Michael drives because frenchie hasn’t got her license yet. When they get there Michael stays in the waiting room.
The doctor wants to run a few tests on Christine to see what it might be. When the doctor returns he revealed that christen is pregnant. “This cant is.” Christine said. There was no fighting science. She is to have a baby at 15.
Now she has to go and tell Michael that she is to have his kid. How would he react what would he say? Would he leave me? Christine doesn’t want to think about any of these things. Frenchie is there for support and she would never leave her.
Michael is sitting in the waiting room looking though some magazines when Christine and Frenchie walked in. Michael asks what was wrong and Christine couldn’t lie she tells him that she is pregnant and he is the farther. Michael began to studded” W..W..What?……h….h…how could this be? We only did it once!” Once is all it takes.
Later that night Christine and Michael decide to tell all their friends at the skating rink. No one could believe it. They are there for them if they needed them and they let them know that. They are the best friends anyone could ask for. But Jason is alittle surprised. He is Michael’s best friend and Christine’s old boy friend. But he supported them.
After Michael and Christine leave the skating rink they go to go tell his mom. She would take it better. She lectures for awhile, mostly to him, and then she asks
“ What do you plan on doing about school, work, money, and where you live?”
They told her that they are not sure, but what they do know is that they are going to try and make this work.
Michael’s mom goes with Christine to tell her mom. Christine’s mom is really understanding and loving because she had Christine when she was 16.
It has been about 2 months and Christine starts to get bigger. Then her mom tells them that they needed to get married. They agree not only did they have a baby to get ready for, but now they had a wedding too.
A few weeks pass by. The both of them are still in school and making good grades. The wedding is over now. The baby is to be coming soon. Christine is scared of what to do when the baby does come. How would they raise it. “ It? “ what was it? Girl or boy? Michael and Christine go to the doctor together to find out the sex of the baby. When they get there the doctor ells them that it is a girl.
A couple months pass by. Christine is home alone doing her homework when all of the sudden her water breaks. She calls Michael and he comes and picks her up right away. Michael rush’s Christine to the hospital , and calls his and her mom. Now it has been 12 hours and Christine has delivered a baby. At 15 she has a baby. The baby girl is Brookelynn Leigh Courtney.
Things are going fine in their life. “B” (that’s what Michael called her) started kindergarten , and they have good jobs. They are getting by, and not living on their parents. Then one day Michael hits Christine.
