If I had had any idea how hard it would be to back on seizure meds, I never ever would have gone off them. But then if the first neurologist had said how likely it would be that I would have a seizure if I wasn't on them (instead of just saying the only drawback was not driving for six months), I wouldn't have even considered it.
I've been at this for over a month now and am only at level 3 of 6 in ramping up to my intended dose. I'm on day four of a migraine (on and off, not straight, thank goodness, but more on than off), day four of dizzy, and I don't know what day of spotting (it's a girl thing). All typical side effects of this med, but I didn't have them anywhere near as bad last time.
And yes, this was posted at 5 in the *grumblegrumble* morning!
(If you're curious why I don't try a different med - this one does less damage to my body if taken long term and once I was ramped up to the correct dose for a couple weeks I had nooooo side effects and was on it for a couple of years)
