First Day of Finals

Jun 20, 2005 19:24

YAY! What a wonderfully easy day it was! In Band I hung around with Sean M., Aaron, Dally, and Gerry and played 5 card stud. I freaked some people out when I talked about the "beautiful bacon sex". XD Then I messed around with Dally on the piano for the rest of that block. Some other peeps tried to order a pizza, but the place wouldn't deliver it here. Haha. Then I went to English for that final. It's only worth 50% of our grade, with 100 questions, each then worth half a point. It was pretty simple. I think I got slightly confused with a bit of "Snows of Kilanmajaro" but other than that, easy peasy! After that final, since everyone finished early, we watched the rest of "A Raisin in the Sun". I think the piglet dude is so hilarious talking! After that, before heading home, I got Ms. Mahoney to sign my yearbook. She said that I'm beautiful. :) I got home and hard a warmish lunch since our fridge is dead, for all you who didn't know. The guy came over today and said that it just needs a part, but doesn't know how long it'll take. I raked and picked up sticks in the front and back yard so that I could go to the library and to the Mall of New Hampshire. At the library I took out three books by Jane Austin: Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and Mansfield Park. Kati got me inspired to read them. I love the way that they talk. It's so funny and poetic, and really polite at the same time. In the Mall, we went to Build-A-Bear so that I could get a $5 gift card on a purchase of $30 or more. I got some cute outfits for my bears that are oh so summer like!

So, yeah, that's the day for the most part. Ice is a luxury now. I'm going to grab my iced lemonade from dinner. Tomorrow I have my chem and algebra 2 final.
