Life is short*

Today has been exhausting, stressful, but fun.

We left for Emerald Point and at about 9 this morning to take Cara and a friend to celebrate her birthday.  It was fun got a lot of sun...until a man drowned. It was so scary he was in the wave pool and I guess got caught in the current and people were on top of him and he couldnt get to the top.  About 15 lifegaurds and EMS were there trying to revive him and it took about 15 minutes.  I saw his face and it was really blue...they finally brought him back to life and rushed him to the hospital...that really ruined my day just because I couldnt get the poor man out of my mind.  Thank god he is OK.

On the way home there was a huge storm which just kinda added to the weariness of the day.  Then right when we got to the Tanglewood Sign on I-40 traffic came to a stand still.  I was like what now?!  A man on a motorcycle got side-swapped and right when our car was passing his body we saw his face and it had blood all over it and they were covering his body with a sheet.  I really had to hold back tears.

Ashley I love you so much and Im praying for you and your family.  I know how close you were to your mamaw and how much you've been through these past couple of months.  I wanted to come to the visistation but we were at Emerald Point.  I know how it feels to lose someone like that...2 yrs ago this past Tuesday I lost papaw Donald....so Im praying for you and I know it will soon be ok.

I pray for the family of the man at Emerald Point and the man on the way home and for Ashley and her family.

*Life is so Short...remember that!
