So, I hope this isn't a portent for the weekend. Looks like the Miami trip is off for now. :( I was really looking forward to being able to see Gmo for his birthday.
Someone should really tell the Venatrix that next time she wants to test if she's learned Coil of the Best 1 that she NOT burn down a preserve. ;-)

The fire has grown to 8500 acres. Alligator Alley will remain closed throughout Friday and the weekend, maybe longer.
