The coming of Fall
Yesterday the air was cool and held a hint of frost in it's wake. The leaves were tinged ever so slightly with yellow. I took my daily walk around the block with Shaun. It was nice just holding hands. Brian and his friend Daniel came over shortly after that so we went to Steak and Shake then to the beach. I took them "pier surfing." In Faireport Harbor there is this Boat pier that has floating planks that they tie boats too. A storm was coming so the waves were lashing and the wind was high, which means a perfect time to go surfing. You stand on the end of the planks and "surf." It's a lot more fun then it sounds. Plus the planks are pretty narrow so usually one person stands on one plank other wise they whole thing will buck when you walk. Causing the other person to lose their balance.
We walked back towards the parking lot. There is this other pier that sticks out almost half a mile into the harbor. It's huge but the pavement is usually littered with lake gull shat. The water always looks very tempting even though it's very deep. The pier is next to a deep channel then the shallow part of the harbor. Shaun likes to joke about pushing me in but he knows I'd jump in willingly if I knew how deep/shallow the water was.
I've been drawing again. Lots of sketchs, Steam punk inspired portraits of friends, and large eyed girls with odd colored hair. I've drawn myself, shaun and Brian steampunk style. Heather is next but I have to figure out how to do victorian meets Japanese culture for her to be pleased. Maybe an automail katana and a high necked dress with a short kimono over it? I'm not sure I have to sketch some more. :)
I also found the perfect Donna outfit at Gabes. The SAME jacket, SAME shirt, SAME earrings. Ah gah to bad I has no money. I even found a wig that would work with the outfit. Augh! So frustrating. I think this year I will have two parties, a Doctor who one and maybe another Halloween one. Cindy also wants me, Spuzzy and Heather to come down to Gerogia. It's a ten hour drive. RAPE OF A DRIVE. AH. Maybe during Thanksgiving Break????? Hmmmm....
