Make Me Up!

I want to completely rehab my make-up bag. I know a couple of you use MAC Cosmetics and I'm thinking about going in store and having a consultation and buying all new stuff. The store is in the Galleria (fancy mall in St. Louie). I'm nervous they'll be all snotty to me.

I'd love some input. This calls for a poll!

I couldn't leave a long answer for the last question.
I had a makeup consultation at MAC and found it incredibly useful because they were able to match my skin tone perfectly to the type and shade of foundation and powder I wanted and give me advice on how to use liquid eyeliner, which I hadn't previously been able to wear right. Be warned, if you go to the MAC counter/store, the Fluidlines are addictive. They are kinda liquid kinda cream kinda powder-ish eyeliner-gel pots of eyeliner. The pigment is great, they go on smooth and last forever.

See, that's why I want to do the consultation - I want to get everything matched up with my skin tone.

So...I have a stupid question but I know you won't make fun of me too badly so I'll ask. Do you pronounce each letter individually - M. A. C. or do you just say MAC as in Big Mac?

I don't want to look like too much of an idiot when I go into Famous Barr looking for their counter.

I have a friend who at least used to work at the MAC counter at the Nordstrom at West County. Give them a call and see if Christina still works there. If so, see if you can find out when she's working - she's the radness and will treat you quite fably.
