Back in the Mitten
Got back at 10pm last night. Today, working 8am to 5pm, then running home, changing clothes, doing laundry, staining 29 pieces of red oak for the roof underside, going grocery shopping, cleaning the house, staining the other side before bed.
Tomorrow, get up 7:30am, doctor's appt at 8:30am, then back to house for more cleaning, prepping, and varnishing of oak. Need to get that all done tomorrow because...
Thursday, work from 8am to 8pm, opening at the art museum 5pm - 8pm with lecture, must be present. Da arrives around 10:30pm, must have his bedding and some food/drink ready. Must also have most of the allergens in the house cleaned up - both Da and Mike are allergic to cats and dust.
Friday - Da, Sean, and I begin work on the porch installation.
Already very sore and exhausted from this weekend. Methinks that's not going to change for a while... but it's for a good cause, right? Right.
Off we go!
