I spent the evening in Paradise Bay, owned by a Dutch family. They have two kids around our age. They own all the houses in the surrounding areas in between two small beaches and run a bed and breakfast type of thing. It's really nice! It's odd that you're talking about that b/c the pastor spoke his sermon on that same topic this morning...only he used an example about prairie chickens and eagles (it's like the story of the Ugly Duckling). I totally agree with what you say, even though sometimes I find myself being a hypocrite in the way that I act at work or at school, or even just the way I carry myself. I know I need to work on that...A LOT. I'm wondering if both the message and your entry are God telling me that I need to straighten up my act. *Hmmmm*

it is definitely something we all struggle with. maybe it's something we can make a priority to work on together when we live together. we'll work on being amazing spiritual women for the men we are marrying as well as doing Pilates together. :) :) :) :)

i totally understand what you are saying.... i think that we are all at fault for not acting in what we believe "at times" but...some people take it to a different level. I know a few people like Asher's brother...and yes it is very hard to get through to them...its gets more frustrating that they say they KNOW and BELIEVE in God but then act/live....like they have never heard the WORD. I especially love the part where he says that all non-protestant Christians will go to hell!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA TTYL bye bye hun!

yup, we are definitely all at fault. much agreed. that's why I also mentioned it as a wake up call for myself...it's discouraging to hear and see it so much though.
yeah, I literally burst out laughing the first time I heard him say that all catholics go to hell. Yeah. he's special. and by special, I mean stupid. :) I'll see you when I get back!
