(no subject)
A day of well expended energy. :) Every good day should involve macaroni and cheese, swimming in a pool full of leaves and dead geckos, and disney movies. Today certainly did. :)
Today was one of those days where I was just looking for a good cry. Nope, not sad, not lonely, not angry, not nostalgic, not anything...I just thought it had been awhile, so I kind of wanted one. Silly, really.
I went to Sarah's house and we made macaroni and cheese. It is a foreign concept after eating Easy-Mac for the last 3 years. :) We then changed into swimming attire and made our way to her backyard. Because Phoenix rocks my face off (I'm lying...), monsoon season is always accompanied by numerous dust storms...so everyone mistakenly gets their pools cleaned and cars washed too often, because the same evening, their cars and pools will be just as dirty. Ha ha. :)
So I jumped into the pool to find it the same temperature as bath water...yay 118 degrees outside...and I came up out of the water to find a gecko floating on top of the water, along with thousands of leaves. I really should learn to look before I leap. ;) I then made an olympic-calibured effort to clean the pool with Sarah's cleany pooly thingy. Yup. You love my technical terminology. Then I broke Sarah's water sling shot...it had it coming, I swear...:)
This evening I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...again...this time with my whole family. I would like to say that the girl who plays Veruca Salt looks SO MUCH like Jessica Moore...and Grandma Georgina still rocks my face off....*I love grapes!!!*
Danny Elfman rocks my face off, too. The intro to the movie playing with the credits is frickin sweet.
The ramblings of a girl who is sun-tired and looking for a reason to cry. Someone tell me a sad story, cuz I have no reason to cry right now. Why would I? My friends and family are waysuperwonderful, and I get to be with the most wonderful man in the universe in 6 days. :D
