She called back the day after to apologize for "overreacting".
Sunday night I went over to help her do something on her computer and was shot down in a relatively nicer way. I can't remember exactly what she said but it had the word "platonic" in there. Sadly this makes it way easier for me to wash my hands of the whole affair and move on (and away).
It just takes way to much energy to constantly suppress some of the stuff that would flow unabated with other people cause she's so incredibly sensitive! I'm not being me and I don't have the patience to wait for someone to acclimatize to what it's like to not have a stick up yer tuckus.
It's been a moodier than normal Valentines day. This is one of those times where the whole poly thing is not the good fit that it appears to be the rest of the year. Blech.
