I have a question. I asked for photoshop for christmas, and i got "photo shop elements 2.0" i was just wondering if this is the actual program, because it doesn't have much on it? or is it an add on type thing? arrgh, let me know please<3

Photoshop Elements is like an add-on program for Photoshop. Hope that helps. You can check out the Adobe website for more information. ^.^

I use Elements. It's not an add-on, it's a separate program developed for home users of Photoshop who want to edit pictures and not have to deal with the elaborate stuff that comes along w/ Photoshop 8.0 etc. It's easier for me because I dont have to export to Image Shop etc.

If you have any questions, let me know b/c I'm actually developing some tutorials for my site and you can test them out for me if you want!

PS the other difference (esp. if your parents bought it for you) is about $300.

I use photoshop elements also - it's a great program, very easy to use.

And princessjojobee - I'm always on the prowl for elements tutorials, I'd love a link to any you've created :)
