Yes, I have taken quite the break. It feels nice. Although my computer was never sent in to be fixed it's acting better at least. Right now I have a small update with a template and a few examples. This one is not suggested for beginners. I will accept requests for customizing, but you have to be quick if you want to make it in time for Valentine's Day.
Remember, my policy on templates: For making a icons used privately in your journal credit is not expected, just appreciated.
For making icons to be shared in an icon journal and/or community I require credit that links to this journal.
This is my heart corner template. for this I provide a blank square with plain cut-off corners:
And 4 fitted corners with hearts:
These can be arranged whichever way you want.
This is an example of what one heart in the top left corner looks like:
Tip from Elle: Try playing with the transparent areas and the color of the border to fit the template to your own iconing preferences.
Made a two (shounen-ai) examples using diagonal corners for the hearts.
