Geez... another post of doom. Sorry Hav!
Man, one more day of closing and I am through for three days. Woo-hoo! Work has been pretty uneventful lately. I've been learning some new stuff though. It has been slow with the storms and all. Tomorrow should be busy since it's a weekend night. Ugh. As long as my department is not trashed and we leave by 9:30 I'll be very happy. I get paid tomorrow too! Nice big fat check for me. I'll be rich again. :-p Unfotunately, a big chunk of that will go to my credit card bill and my NY spending money... >_> Regardless, I've got some jackets and jeans on hold at work that I plan on buying before I leave. Working at this store is the worst thing to ever happen to my bank account, I swear.
TJ and I took our comic trip today. The place was weird. They had LOTS of stuff but it was kinda barren at the same time. Like the walls and everything. It wasn't really homey at all. Anyway, they have TONS of back issues (that were VERY organized) and it was funny because I kept looking for different arcs and stuff in different titles and it seemed like every one of the first ones I needed they didn't have. Like I wanted Nightwing 71, but they had 69, 72, 73. You get the picture. I could have spent days in that place. My load changed very frequently too. Lets just say that before I started walking towards the register, I had Detective Comics #796, two back issues of The Flash, Demo #7, Batman #620, Y - The Last Man #24, and Exiles #49. I think that was all. I ended up leaving with Y, Demo (for my brother), and The Flash: Blitz (the book I was contemplating getting in one of my past posts. It's issues 192-200 and it was twenty bucks. >_>) I spent 27 dollars in there today and I could have spent SO much more. I just figured I could easily download most of the ones I put back so it wasn't worth the extra moolah. Good decision on my part. Kinda sad that I'm leaving for NY on Wednesday AND coming home the following Wednesday so I'll miss two shipping days. :( Superman/Batman 11 finally comes out next week! And I'm gonna miss it! Gah! So much good stuff coming up... Ex Machina #2... yum. Havok or Buzzy, have you read that yet? It's awesome. Vaughan is a genius. So yes, today was fun.

Then I gotta get my check (unless my Direct Deposit finally started working) and get the ink tags taken off of Chris's new shoes... Gah! Stupid exploding ink packs.
