You try to take the best of me

So this weekend kinda started out crappy. Found out on Friday that the accounting job fell through. It turns out this Barbara woman had already hired two people before she talked to me, but was entertaining the thought of hiring me because she wasn't sure if one was gonna work out. Obviously, this person is so I got screwed. Thanks for wasting three weeks of my life, bitch.
I was so pissed that morning. Yesterday I checked the classifieds and found an ad for personal assistant positions at one of the local realty offices, so I sent them my resume and all I can do is hope for the best! This week I'm going to stop by the county school office and see if they need anybody and after that I'm not sure. What would really save my butt is if Chris's uncle gets this imaging job with UNF. Then I'd really be set. But I can't rely on that. This sucks, but I am enjoying my time off from working! :)

I finished Till We Have Faces! It was really good. Very angsty. Hehe I started The Death of Ivan Illyich yesterday. It's REALLY short and Chris said he liked it so I'm giving it a chance. After that, Pride and Prejudice, baby!

I'm so sad! It turns out Chris wants to go to the A Perfect Circle concert!! They're gonna be in Orlando on Thursday and I wanted to go, but I figured I'd have no one to go with. Even though Chris loves them too, I just didn't think he'd be into the concert scene. So, he calls me and asks me if I want to go. Problem is, the tickets are gonna be like $50 and I'm not at liberty to be spending that type of cash right now with my job situation. He's calling his friend from school who lives in Port Orange to see if he'll go with him. I'm so bummed though! Now he's gonna be talking about it and I'm going to have no idea... This sucks, man.

Wow. My life is really only revolving around like two things: job search and reading... O_o Gotta love summer!
