even though i'm pretty good with maps.
san diego is such a large and diverse city that the only way i can tell which neighborhood i am in is by the language that makes up the signs for laundromats and restaurants. driving around here in north park, the constant loop of lavanderias, 7-11s and taco shops plays like the background of a second rate animation, and makes me feel completely lost as well as at home.
