Another one (what mood was I in when I first wrote this? :P )

True Love

Why do I put up with it?
Why do I wait
Why all this effort for a lousy date
I’ve found my true love
I hear it call
Is it my fault if it is in my kitchen?

Somebody better love me soon
I can’t hold out much longer
My will power is getting weak
The Twinkies are getting stronger

I hear them plotting in the store
Get ready for my fat thigh war
Help me please
Call reinforcements
I can’t resist their siren call much more

Twinkies and Beebos and Oreo cookies
If I get any bigger
I won’t get any snookies

Chips and Pretzels and Sour Cream Dips
Will I ever find someone
Who digs 40 inch hips

I know (I hope) if I find the person of my dreams
I’ll be able to resist the call of the ice cream

I hope they arrive soon - where are you my dear?
If not I’ll soon have pudding pops for a rear.

I lust after food
I’ve displaced my affections
I’d much rather give your bod my attentions

I need your love - I'll be ever so faithful
But hurry up, or I’ll lose my navel.
