The best connection we can usually get out here at the school (being in the middle of nowhere) is about 1.3mbps. That's tollerable, but just barely. For someone like me who does everything online. Every day last week I started work at 9am and quit around 9pm. Thursday we left at 2am Friday morning. Friday we quit at 7:30, and came back in at 8:30 Saturday night. Worked all through the night and was still there until I finally went home to collapse at about 5:00pm on Sunday ( Read more... )

It's only a beta, but so far Firefox 3 has been MORE stable for me than 2. I've been putting it through it's paces, and so far I'm a happy boy. I like it. Nice new look, new features, and snappier in my experience.

Seems like the team has been doing a lot of work on memory management.
