1. Probably a duh question, but I use an ideal plantsim replacement by stakeit_uk, but it's not listed on that link above (because it was made after the fact). That's still game though, right?
2. More of a recommendation than a question: If doing a Sims 3 legacy, it would probably be best to import the pixel trade spouses in one generation at a time, due to story progression, correct?
1. Any and all replacements made by members are totally eligible. If you find one made by a member that isn't on the list, maybe pm them to suggest it or comment with a link yourself? ;) :D
Its not a complete list by any means, but its a good jumping off point. :D
2. That one is totally up to you and your play style. I would definitely recommend pre-choosing and then putting the spouses in as you need them, though, yes. Just makes it easier :D
2. IKR!? I do a little bit of both, tbh, any sims I really love I often let loose in the hood a while before I plan to use them, so they can find their own partners and fill my hood with more interesting kids for sims to play with its :D
3. Yups most definitely ^_^ Just make sure you credit in your first post ^^
I also have a question about pollination tech's. Would pirate McSkittles be ok? i believe it was made after that thread was posted, and he makes such cute alien babies.
Absolutely, but make sure you remember that that counts as 'spouse' so if you use Pirate McSkittles then you can only use one other sim by sixamsims ^_^
Question! So I used the boolprop to make the sim modder creepy baby and set Bekah to Grilled Cheese. Only now it won't show her icon over her status bars as grilled cheese. You know on the left the bar to show green/gold/platinum mood and the icon for choosing aspiration points has completely disappeared. I have her backpack and the job rewards button, but the other one is gone.
I don't use boolprop that often and I've never used sim modder, but I'm assuming this is not what's supposed to happen?
Okay, that is definitely not supposed to happen, and I've personally never encountered that error, and I've had a LOT of Grilled Cheese sims, even on my Mac where you can't have Freetime...
I guess at this point all I can advise is for you to search forums etc for a possible fix? Its entirely possible that this kind of error has been encountered by a MATYan for example.
I can look when work and other commitments I have are over but that wont be very quick for you ^_^;; If you DO find a solution, would you mind posting/commenting back here with it in case other people come across this bug?
I wasn't able to come up with a solution. After a little bit. Leave lot without saving, come back still glitchy with baby. Quit game, come back still glitchy. Putter around, unable to save game, crash. At that point I kind of got an eye twitch and decided that instead I'd go try out the Sims 3 version since I spent so long figuring out I needed to patch my game and all.
So I played Sims 3. If I can't use her and the neighborhood continues to glitch I'll just remake the neighborhood. It wouldn't be the first time boolprop blew one of my hoods up. Or the second.
If it doesn't work I'll do plan C. Play her fulfilling small wants and avoiding people until she has enough points to buy the orb thingie and stick her head in it until it's full of cheese and then age her back down with the sim blender (which oddly enough won't let me change her aspiration to grilled cheese though I can do any of the other ones) and then move her into the starter lot.
You can change everything about them including name as long as you keep the facial structure and for this purpose, skin/hair/eye colour. But feel free to go crazy with CC etc.
If you want them to have different eye colours you can always give them contacts, and hair/brow colour as long as they're MADE with the right one, you can change that in-game at a mirror to keep genetics the same but visuals different :D

2. That was my plan, lol. Don't want my potential spouses growing old on me!
And I came up with a 3. We can change the founders' names, correct?
