RE: Experiment: Formula 1229
Dr. Dookouski, I write to you to update you on the Formula 1229 experiment currently running in the township of Brechenwillow. We have established a house, installed our subjects and have begun the clinical observations.
Herein you will find further description of the experiment.
Here is our main test subject, Penny. She is our control subject and has not been exposed to Formula 1229.
Here is test subject, Hector. He was referred to us by
iliketoplaygod.
Test subject, Tycho. He is an alien we acquired from the
xel-squirgle-ox Foundation.
This is Ben. We are unsure who referred him to our experiment. He just appeared at the door.
Test subject Jerome was referred by
lemon_lime35.
Gabrielle was acquired through the
skittlebox Women's Correctional Facility.
Apricot came to the experiment from another program by
forestpixie
And finally, Amelia who came to us from
beachwee.
The house meets the criteria set in the experiment outline.
The most obvious observation we can make about Formula 1229 is that it seems to cause extreme lethargy and sleepiness. Some test subjects could not make it to a suitable sleeping area but would simply drop asleep where they stood.
At certain dosages, subjects bristled with irritability with no known cause.
Test subject, Ben was found to be extremely anxious. It is unknown if the acute state of anxiety was due to the large doses of Formula 1229 or if he simply suffered from some sort of disorder.
Unlike the other subjects, Penny immediately set forth to find gainful employment in the field of athletics. She reported upon intake that she dreamed of being a "hall of famer" and would pursue this personal goal despite participating in a secret experiment.
Compared to her housemates, Penny's energy seemed limitless. Her taste in work-out wear, however, is questionable.
A troubling side-effect has been possible incontinence.
However, since subject Penny seems to struggle with this, our findings on incontinence are currently speculative.
Giddiness has effected some interactions among the subjects. However, these seem to raise morale and therefore are acceptable.
Formula 1229 may also effect eye-site as many test subjects will be standing but inches away from food while they are starving and they do not eat. Is this a sign of decreased visual range or possibly disorganized thinking?
Apricot seemed to enter a state of near madness. She became so depressed, psychosis set in.
Her sense of appropriateness became minimal and she began bathing herself in the kitchen.
We will continue to monitor Apricot's delusional episodes.
As time wore on, other subjects have shown signs of true madness. Hector has become obsessed with garden gnomes.
Ben would refuse to eat or prepare food despite complaints of hunger.
Jerome became anxious about Ben and then mocked his obvious psychotic features.
Jerome himself experienced extreme sleep deprivation...
He began obsessively painting and would neglect eating, sleeping and bathing.
Which resulted in his termination.
Some subjects insist his ghost is present throughout the house. However, this again may be a sign of a psychotic break amongst the subjects.
Ben's breakdown continued to escalate...
He was found in the kitchen, where he was often found. Suicide is suspected.
Aggressive outbursts have also been observed amongst the subjects. The observation team has been betting on Tycho for quite sometime and have managed to win against the mailman.
Through everything, however, Penny seems to maintain composure and continue to live a nearly normal existence.
Sleeping.
Eating.
Working.
Even maintaining romantic relationships.
Throughout it all...she seems stronger than ever.
Let us hope, she can survive the chaotic environment of the house and continue to excel in achieving her goals.
This concludes Report #1.
