POLL: More Founder Collections?
Hi everyone! I'm not sure if you remember me - my name is Bea, and I'm one of the maintainers of pixel_trade. I've been on constant off/on hiatus for the last 4 years because of university. Lately I've been thinking a lot about the community, how much fun I had here, and some of the super unique sims and sim challenges that came out of pixel_trade. I've been a member of this community for a long time, and I would love to see more community-based interactions happen!
That said, this poll was inspired by that feeling. The last founder collection was January 2014, a little over a year ago. I know that many people have moved to simblrs/tumblr as a way of keeping their sims stories, but I also feel that tumblr would also be an appropriate way to post founder collections as well, if that was something people were interested in. We could have a round-up post on the community here, as well as a place to submit them to on tumblr!
This poll is to gauge interest. For those not familiar with the founder collections, or new to the community, the rules are as follows:
1. Two founders per person per game. Theoretically you can submit four founders as long as two are Sims 2 sims and two are Sims 3 sims.
2. Founders must be CC free and packaged with BASEGAME-ONLY content. For the Sims 3, sliders can be used, but please mention on your picture you have used custom sliders.
3. Sims 2 founders should be in .Sims2Pack form and Sims 3 founders should be in .sim form.
In the past, some founder collections have been themed, others have not. Themes could be completely optional, or something incorporated in the redux (we could have a later poll to decide that).
I'll be spreading this post about on tumblr, so hopefully more people will vote than just us oldbies who are clinging to LJ. Without further ado!
