Maplecliffe BACC, Week 7: Storybook
This week's challenge!
Our little prison for the week! And who gets to be the prisoner?
Poor old Thea (lauriethemuppet). We'll start her off making pottery.
No one seems to notice her absence.
Max heads to the store to sell some shit. He's got his hands full.
He's really good at dazzling though, so it's not so bad. He takes on all the sales himself. He's got Tilly (dorkasaur_sims) wrapped around his finger.
He can't dazzle everyone though. racing_oatmeal's Pandorica isn't having any of it. Even when he tries to mesmerize her. And he tried a bunch of times too. Nothing.
Meanwhile, Thea....passes the time. She doesn't like that she doesn't have a shower. And I don't like that she doesn't have a shower either. She complains at me.
Gabriel's wanted to go out for so long, so I finally let him. I can't remember who he went with.
Meanwhile, Max rocks out with Ares Randolph (quinctia), who just showed up randomly, uninvited.
Verchiel took a different approach to going out. No permission needed! And he made it back without getting caught too.
The arts and crafts dude isn't happy about not being able to get into the prison to give Thea her membership card.
Gabriel needs something to do, so flowers! Though he's going to be the one to stay with this house, so I don't think he's actually going to do anything with these flowers. I'll let another household start an actual floral shop.
Being all by herself really takes a toll on Thea.
And thus marks the first appearance of the social bunny. Thea smacks the shit out of him.
His response? He waves. Methinks Mr. Bunny is suppressing some deep-seated issues. Or he likes it rough, cause this happens at least two or three more times throughout the week. Every time, she smacks him. And every time, he waves at her. Weird.
Verchiel thinks he's hot shit. And he kind of is. XD
Yay silver pottery badge! I missed the bronze one.
Aww, poor Verchiel. He looks so sad.
Max: What the hell is this? This is unacceptable from my pond!
Everyone always gossips about this poor nanny. I don't even know how it's possible that he remembers her, but it doesn't stop Verch from besmirching the name of the hot nanny with charterzard's Clue.
Thea's full of RAGE that she can't walk through the wall to go to work. It was at this point that I realized that I probably should've just put Max in here, since he doesn't have a job. Whoops.
That's what you get for bad-mouthing the poor nanny, Verch. It has nothing to do with my failure at chance cards. Nope.
And now you're doomed to relive your embarrassing days as the llama. Again. Your fault, not mine.
Silverfeather (simsforaranya) shows up at the house unannounced and Clue takes an immediate dislike to her. She just goes to town on her, torturing the poor thing.
Clue: Did I make her mad? I can feel her eyes trying to set me on fire.
Gee, I wonder why she would feel that way, Clue.
And once again, Max proves that he's still got it.
I think it's kind of funny that immediately after marveling over how hot they find themselves, teens spot a zit and immediately fear for their social life. Every time, it seems.
Yay! Though I should really have him spend his time at the pet store instead, so that he can learn the ropes from Max. Max isn't going to be around forever.

I think Gabriel turned out alright! I still worry about that flat chin, but he's not bad!
Look at that! What a great girlfriend, getting Gabriel better wages. Why can't this happen in real life?
Gabe is very grateful for what simsforaranya's Libby has done for him. XD

And this was all she brought with her when she moved in. I'm assuming she bought it from his dad's shop at some point. She's already contributed to family funds!

Yay and dammit at the same time! Yay for pregnancy but I hate getting that message.
