Maplecliffe BACC Challenge, Week 5: Ontario
Aurora and Queenston are excited to be back! Shelburne...not so much, apparently.
Mount Forest and Leonid seem indifferent too. And about the fact that they're now best friends. Apparently it's not big news for them.
I totally forgot that 4 households=1 NPC lot and that I could've had one after the Fosters moved to the neighbourhood. And I forgot again throughout all of week four. But once I finally remembered, I got set on creating one! Mount Forest wants to be a Professional Party Guest, and in order to get into the career, there needs to be a club lot. So I created In Da Club! I forgot to take pictures of it, so it'll have to wait till the next time I play. Lobo, Bryanston, and Mount Forest were the first patrons of the place, and Lobo immediately heads for the dance for and gets down with his bad self.
Meanwhile, Bryanston and Mount Forest set about meeting some girls. Mount Forest chats up a random townie, and Bryanston starts talking to dorkasaur_sims's Galaxy.
It...doesn't go well for Bryanston.
And he doesn't take it very well.
But it doesn't take long for him to get back up and try again. And with an older woman this time, wooden_badger's Miriam. At least she seems to be enjoying his attention.
Though laughing at her might not be the best way to get to her heart. Eh, they don't have awesome chemistry anyway. She's a little too mature for him.
So he tries again with _simplyrandom's Plum Honeyblossom. Sailor couldn't make friends with her, but she and Bryanston have great chemistry! Yay!
They even share in the joy of making fun of other people dancing.
Yep, he's really turning on the charm, and she's loving every second of it. So, after the first trip to the club, Bryanston's set! 2 kids down, four to go!
Really? He just happened to find it laying around in the woods and then dragged it all the way back home? *skeptical*
Either way, Arva's impressed. There had better not be any more babies, missy. The only reason you've got the six you've got is so that you can get your LTW.
One of the boys brought dutchxfan's Elm home from school with them. He's not exactly endearing himself to the family.
So they slipped a bit of sedative into his food as revenge. That'll learn'im! Mary-Lynette (lauriethemuppet) doesn't seem to care. Her food's fine.
Ugh, finally. Even with the gold badge, she still kind of sucks at the whole business thing. Not everyone loves to be dazzled by her. We call those people crazy.
Bryanston is winning at life too! Barely in the science career for a few days, and he's already at the top.
*startled* Gah, she's creepy when she sneaks up on you like that. Yes, I realize she's just sitting there, minding her own business, shut up.
It's Aurora's birthday! Everyone's excited, except for keoni_chan's Paris, who just randomly showed up.
Pretty! She rolled Fortune/Pleasure and wants three kids to graduate from college. Probably not going to happen, but we can always hope! She likes athletic chicks who don't skimp on the perfume. She doesn't like girls who are too fit though. She likes a few curves.
So cute. Except for the fact that he made Arva walk to the store all by herself while he rode on his broom. Typical dude. His ride is more important than his wife.
Myron (charterzard) loves what Arva's selling.
And thus we close on Arva's last night of business. I think she made it to rank five or six. She was starting to do better, but meh, it's been four weeks, so that's enough groceries for them.
That's a pretty nice bit of money we get from it. Which is good, because otherwise, the kids would have to live on the street after moving out, because they wouldn't be able to afford to buy a plot of land, much less anything else.
And with the extra money, the house gets another little makeover so that Mount Forest doesn't have to share a big room with is three sisters. That's a little creepy. Also, not sure why I took the picture in build mode, but there it is.

In the end, he goes off with Grimmy to the great beyond. We'll miss you, Port Dover!
Well, some of us will. Mount Forest is too excited about getting a promotion in the most Mickey Mouse of jobs to care about his own dog passing away. For shame, Mount Forest! For shame!
He does get some points, though, for playing with his little sister. I find it so weird that she's his little sister now, since she's been alive for longer than him. So weird.
Queenston, on the other hand, isn't quite so friendly with Lobo. 8( Poor guy.
Meanwhile, Aurora plays the family nerd and maxes out...I can't remember which skill.
And Bryanston makes a new friend! This is Tramp.
...Fucking Tramp. Two seconds in the house, and he's already ruined the couch. *grumble*
But, Bryanston wants to keep him, and I just can't say no to him, so Tramp gets to join the household. I have the feeling I'm going to regret this.
If my dad walked around in his underwear all day, with or without a wand, I'd want to kill him. Though if he could do magic, I suppose I could forgive him.
Lobo's OTH is tinkering, but he's got next to no mechanical skill...guess I shouldn't have made him try to play with the TV right off the bat. Whoops! XD
It's Aurora's turn to head down to the club to try to find a girlfriend. Marmelade (cindrasims) doesn't look impressed.
freudroid's Millie Mint, however, definitely seems to like her attention! She's adorable! I'm not completely sold on her though, because she and Aurora have similar skin tones, plus she's got black hair, which I'm trying to get away from for a generation or two. But we'll keep her on standby!
She does think Carolina is hot, but Carolina doesn't want her back. Meh, she's just a townie anyway. She's not good enough for our Aurora.
Meanwhile, Mount Forest is still trying to find a woman for himself. After initial success with Cimorene (bondchick_nett, things sort of fizzle out, but not before she gives him a tv! This will come in handy when/if he moves out on his own.
But, he does have some luck with simsforaranya's May Knight! <3

The next day, Aurora brings the lovely Kittim, by dutchxfan home from school with her.
They seem to be hitting things off!
And then Kittim throws on the breaks. Poor girl. She's not having much luck. It's like Sailor all over again. 8(
Not going to happen guys. You both have significant others.
AND you're meeting her tonight. No Sailor on the side.
The little outing doesn't go quite as planned this time. I guess he can't get away with it every time.
No one wakes up though, when Officer Mustache brings Lobo in. He just stands there for a better part of a sim hour, looking all pedobear-like. It's quite sad, because if it wasn't for the mustache, he'd probably actually look really good. I love his skin tone.
Bryanston brings Plum home from school with him, and after agreeing to go on a date with him, she gives him his first kiss!
He's so happy that his shoves his chin through her neck. Apparently it's the new "it" way to show that special someone how important they are to you. IDK.
Not to be outdone, Mount Forest calls up May for a date!
And a little while later, he gets his first kiss too!
And then he takes her straight to bed. >.>
Yeah, I think he's in.
Whoops. Shock #2! He's still okay though. Yay, no deaths yet!
He gets to invite Carbuncle (quinctia) over as a pick me up after almost killing himself.
Last birthdays of the week! Time for the girls to grow up, and most of the family is there to celebrate.
Shelburne makes a cute teen! She rolled Knowledge/Fortune and wantes to be captain hero. Doable! She likes clean people in their swimsuits but hates hats.
Queenston turned out really well too, even with the freaky eyes. She rolled the opposite of Shelburne, Fortune/Knowledge, and ants to be a game designer. Again, totally doable! She likes blond dudes in formal wear but not if they're fat.
Pssh, fu, Hendrix (iliketoplaygod). You're blind if you think she's ugly.
She does think that Valarie (simtabulous) is supa foine! We can work with this!
...Maybe. Just like almost every other sim in this hood, Shel's relationship with Valarie takes a nosedive after the first few interactions. 8(
The TV breaks, but this time, I get Aurora to fix it, since she's got at least a few mechanical points. Lobo might like tinkering, but one of these days he's going to end up killing himself if he keeps trying to fix things.
Yay Dance Sphere! Though it wasn't Carbuncle that left it. May left it for Mount Forest, so it goes into his inventory so he can spend it when he moves out on his own, if he ends up doing that.
One of the kids brings keoni_chan's Skylar Bradley home with them, and Shelburne hits it off with her! This will be interesting. Think of the kids they could make together!
As usual, it's a little rough-going for awhile...
...but eventually, things heat up again! Four down, two to go!
Aurora kept getting wants that had to do with Minnie, so I gave in and let them be together. I just can't stand in the way of twu wuv!
Brutus (the_caaah) was a walkby, and I thought, hmm, he's pretty hot and Queenston needs a man, so I had her go out and talk to him. Score! That was easy enough!
Queenston: Um, hello! I want to kiss my new man, but my stupid dead dog's tombstone is in the way!
You're in the front yard, dude. There's plenty of room.
She finally gets what she wants in the end. It only took her a good sim hour to realize that, hey, if I just move to the left about a foot, I can actually get around the grave. Very good, Queenston. Bravo.
And also, bravo to Brutus for wanting to pop the cherry of his underage girlfriend immediately after giving her her first kiss.
This is acceptable though. Laying on the grass and stargazing is sweet. This is what you are restricted to until Queenie turns 18. I've got my eye on you, Brutus. *narrows eyes*
That's about it! And now I REALLY need help deciding who should be the main heir. I'm obviously going to continue on with all of them, but I don't know which one to live in the main house. The only one with an impossible LTW is Aurora, but they could all get jobs somewhere or another relatively easily. Help me decide!
