Gosh, that was lovely.

Gentle and sad, but in a nice way.

Thankyou.

Aww, I thought you were gonna leave it unsaid and just call her Ariel or Madison, LOL. Still, I guess I like it better for the boys that they found out and were able to let her go rather than just having her go back and leave them wondering.

Sad, and so pretty. Although, since you came out and said what she was, you coulda named her anything...Tracy woulda been good...*rolls eyes*

Hee. I totally should have had Dean make some Little Mermaid jokes (because you know he watched that movie because he thought Ariel was cute).

I tried thinking of names for her, but nothing seemed to fit, y'know? It just seemed better to leave her nameless. (Although next time I write Dean/mermaid fic, I'll have one named Tracy. Just for you. :) )

Thank you!

Aww, that's sweet of ya. But if you can find a way not to make me a fish, that would be preferable, LOL.

a mermaid! oh!

a lovely sad story dear :) I especially liked that Sam had been waiting for something like this but Dean was too immersed in his happiness to see it.

He smiles, soft and private.

*melts*

I know! A mermaid! (I still can't believe I wrote Dean with mermaid fic. *facepalm* Sometimes I need to stop myself before I start writing these things.)

I especially liked that Sam had been waiting for something like this but Dean was too immersed in his happiness to see it.

It's always the way relationships always seem to go, isn't it? You're too busy with the person to see anything outside of that.

Thank you very much!

not at ALL :D I loved it.

Ah exactly, and it's all the more wonderful because Dean rarely has that

heee! as soon as i read the word "splash," i knew she was a mermaid. it just CLICKED in my head. (man, i'm awfully SLOW these days.) this was lovely, i adore it! i mean, dean and a MERMAID! how did sam figure it out, and not dean? was it because dean was so ENAMORED with her? you know, i really like how you described her when the boys first meet her-- the "dark crevice between her legs" was a lovely touch. i don't know WHY i like that line, i just DO. hopefully, dean goes back to that beach to meet up with her time and again, even though there's no real future with her, but dean can live with that, because of his lifestyle, and sam. *sighs* it's fics like yours that leave me longing for even MORE. WHY, PIXEL, WHYYY? *HUGS YOU*

Yup, exactly. Like I said to someone else, it's the way relationships usually seem to go. You're so involved in the happiness and just warmth of the relationship to see anything else. And I think--or would like to think--that Dean doesn't have enough experience with real relationships to be able to keep his mind straight when one hits him hard.

the "dark crevice between her legs" was a lovely touch. i don't know WHY i like that line, i just DO.

Hee, thank you. I wasn't sure how to describe that without sounding too porny, but getting my point across at the same time. I'm glad that line worked!

Thank you again! *big grin* *hugs you back*
