Oh, WOW. I've already read a few takes, but this one's great. Short, bittersweet, just wonderful. Thanks for sharing it.

Aw man, that was heartbreaking!! So glad you decided to take a break from finals! Lol. And I completly agree with your "a season finale comes only once" logic ;)

Yeah, I definitely needed a small break from finals. They were driving me crazy. Thankfully, though, I'm finished and can now come and frolic around with all of you lovely people once again. :) (Although I have a feeling I'm going to be doing more digging through old posts for awhile...)

You're alive! Lol. But now my lasy stretch of study comes...So, if study plans go to,well, plan, I won't be around for the next three weeks..but eh, I don't have much willpower, so we'll see how that goes :P

Hope your finals went ok!

Three weeks? Three?! Oh man, two weeks was hard enough (and that wasn't even a full two weeks because I popped in briefly after the season finale!)...I don't know how you're going to make it for three. (If you do, I will bow down to your amazing willpower.)

Finals went pretty well...except for the whole "let's get the flu" thing, but hey, *winces* they went as well as could be expected! :P

....My sleep-deprived eyes already strained to focus on the computer screen, but now, my nose is stuffy. How is it that you can describe such an aftermath so vividly? Mary or Banshee, the story is framed in such an ominous note, while it still maintains eerily low-toned impression, nearly devoid of any disturbing noise, drawing our attention to what little the surviving brothers manage to voice.
Dean smelling his childhood where he lay on cold ground (and the description of welling blood), so much that goes in one word/question/plea/prayer "Dad," and then, "Mom," his tear, Sam stepping up to be the man Dean acknowledges in his little brother, struggling to hold on to the only other surviving family, now that they are both orphaned.
This is so poignant and painfully compelling in that the brothers' priorities are laid bare at the very end (which I hope will lead to the new beginning...kamisama!), and nothing much to be spared from the writing itself.
Thank you for sharing this (and not waiting for two weeks to do so)!

Oh, thank you for such a wonderful review. I always love how, somehow, you summarize my stories better than I could ever do. Really, thank you so much for such a lovely review. :)

*cries* Oh, god this is amazing!

Sam wonders if they can still be sons if both their parents are dead. :(

i can't think to comment nicely, but know that I love this!

*passes tissues*

It'll be okay...unless of course, they don't give us our season two and then there will be death! *shakes fist* Grr.

*cough* Right, um, where was I?

Thank you very much for the review, hun! :)
