Can I just say that I love your Danny. I prefer him over the Danny you usually see in Adam fics. :)

Now I'm curious how Danny is usually portrayed in Adam fics...I'm new to this fandom, so I haven't really read all that much. Does Danny usually get a bad rap in the fics?

Thank you very much for reading! :D

I haven't read any other AI fics either, but the Internet as a whole is leaning more towards a negative view of Danny. He's just not self-conscious enough to realize (in interviews, on the show, other news clips, etc.) that he sometimes crosses the line into being rude and/or annoying. He puts his foot in his mouth a lot. :P

Have you seen the EW idolatry video's? They are very funny and a prominent example of the way the internet is leaning.

I have seen a few interviews with him, and I guess now that you point that out, I see what you mean. He does tend to just say whatever he's thinking, and I suppose it does come off as rude/annoying, especially when compared to Kris and Adam. I didn't really think anything negative about him--just that he's sort of immature in a way. He's not...how do I want to say it?...polished? when it comes to his remarks.

I haven't. I'll definitely have to check those out. :)

Yeah, he can be very outspoken. He also admitted in one interview that he had a guard up during the show (which I completely understand) but I think that sometimes when you have a wall up like that, it does cause people think you are smug and rude (I've known a few people like that). I personally think Danny is a little misunderstood. It seems like people are taking every single thing he says and trying to turn it into a negative. I don't think he always means them in the way people are percieving them.
