Chilly Pixelated Blues
It's been busy due to Lil' Pix3l being home for the winter break and all these holidays. Thanks to all who sent cards, I hope everyone I send one to received theirs. Jessica I promise next week Lil' Pix3l and I are going to get that tasty chocolate crack and ship some to you! slut_bunwalla your scarf is almost done and I hope you like it, I made it a bit wide so you can fold it in half to be nice and toasty or drape it over your head and wrap it around your neck. Lastly on the belated holiday gifts, tatyannamw thank you for being sooo patient, you rock. I tried to work on your choker well on public transit when Lil' Pix3l and I are out and about; however it's made with crochet thread so I'm failing miserably on getting it done that way. Once I get my craft magnifier and light set up it work up faster really! I miss reading all of your journals, even if I don't comment that much I still read every single one on my f-list. It's just life been eating up all my computer leisure time as well as my eyes have been a bit on the blurry side lately.
Once things calm down I'll be able to answer comments and finally post the answers to that lyrics meme from ages ago!! I wish there was more time in the day and I didn't catch this horrible cold, which thank the goddess I'm almost over. I've been working on my crafting blog on blogger and liking it, if you want to take a peak go here. I'm working on my first lace project as well as my first knit-a-long as well as the knit & crochet projects, see above.
Been very moody lately and I don't think it's all due to being that time of the month. I guess it's the normal ups and downs that this time of year brings -- stressful family holidays, lack of sun, cold weather and long dark nights. I just want to curl up with a stack of books, a huge pot of tea, maybe a knit or crochet project or two, warm quilt and some tasty snack of some type and hibernate till it's spring. Socialization is not top on my list of things that I want to do; however this time of year it is expected. Tomorrow being New Year's Eve and all. I believe that we are off to a house warming/New Year party, while Lil' Pix3l has fun with my in-laws. I wish we were off to the cabin on Galiano with pack of warm clothes, a project or two, good food and a couple of books and don't forget the anti-histamines! It's nice and quiet there and we'd huddle by the fire either doing our own thing or playing games together. Only if it wasn't an hour or so hike to that cabin down that steep logging road then all the way back up for the way home in the cold, I can't wait till the boat is fixed!! Well we can't have everything we want now can we.
