Recently, I have become uneasy and have been considering going on what I like to call a 'Kung Fu Trip': a trip that consist of packing a very small backpack and traveling the world for an extended period of time. The way things are looking now my Master is going rather smoothly and it might just turn out that after this semester I will need only a single course before I can start my graduation. So I was wondering: why not work during the summer and the first semester of next year, save up some money and go to Asia for 6-7 months? I've been talking to some people I know that have made similar trips and I think I could pull it off financially...
So I wonder:
- Will I be able to manage being on my own for 6 months in countries that I do not know, where people speak languages that I do not understand?
- Which is worse: going and feeling lonely or not going and feeling miserable about it later?
- Will I manage not to care about putting off my graduation for half a year?
Hmmm...
