Yeah, it's a good thing :) It was raining here too this morning and I read this just after my car died and it cost me $360 to fix.

And yeah, I can see how you'd need to angst in response to the cotton-candy pop. Erg. Did you find some SD online?

*hug* back!

$360 whoa. cars nowadays. I use to remember owning a car (older than the hills of wales) that has easy mechanics. Easy like... I don't know cars, but i know what to do with it if it breaks down. Cars used to be so simple. *sigh* Now... I won't be surprised if there's some hidden powers that I don't know about. or a car with the capacity to... oh I don't know. build a house?

And I'm still yet to be able to out-con the insurance conmen.

SD! yep. Apparently my next door neighbour is an SD-fan (was walking home from greengrocers this morning and heard glorious SD). She's burning some choice materials onto CD that I can take with me to college tomorrow. *rubs hands* hmmm..

Squee! Love SD, we need to convert more people.

Car, it's only 3 years old and it was the alternator that went, oil dripping onto it from the power steering. going to have strong words with mechanic let me tell you! It was only serviced 2 months ago and this has been going on for longer than that! Grr!

Too true. SD is too good to pass up.

*g* A friend has a car like that. Bought it like two years ago with her first paycheck, my goodness, like you'll never see anyone so proud about their earthly possessions like she did that day. Sworn up and down the country she'd never sell it. But hey, it got sold last week. Either it's the car or the mechanic. She had to have it garaged every other month. Heh, it's like having a mechanic on payroll.

Cars. they're both a blessing and a bane.
