Crunch time

So we have a 40 something item list of things to do before moving but that's another story.

This is my to do list for today and tomorrow on Dayna's silver dress. Let's hope I can get it all do so that I can finish this dress and keep on rolling to the next. I should have gotten a much earlier start but I had a lot of moving business to take care of today (moving company guy came to do estimate, Leigh Anne returned a good portion of things of mine that she borrowed for a shoot). Then there was that walk to get an iced Americano and a bit of ballet. So here it is.

Today:
1. Cut fabric and interlining together by sandwiching it in between marker paper (pattern pieces already traced onto paper).
*Finished 4:45, too many phone calls/ moving quotes*
2. Cut out center back facing pieces in fabric.
*Finished 5:20*
3. Hand stitch interling and fabric together.
*Finished 9:10 (took breaks to finish making and to eat dinner)
4. Overlock all fabric edges.
*Finished 11:00*
5. stitch back panel and facing to get ready for boning and grommets.
6. Mark 70-something holes for grommets.

I will be more than ecstatic if I get that far today so that tomorrow I can:

7. Make holes and set grommets, I'm guessing that this is going to take forever and a day...
8. Stitch outer layer together.

I need to do this so that I can be ready for a 6:00pm fitting on Thursday.

Then I can break from that dress for a day or two while I stitch alyska's corset toille (yes! pattern made and duck canvas already cut) as well as her skirt and bodice block for our fitting on Sunday.

Wish me luck, speed and a cool breeze.

Edited to add:

1. *Finished 4:45, too many phone calls/ moving quotes*
2. *Finished 5:20*
3. *Finished 9:10 (took breaks to finish making and to eat dinner)
4. *Finished 11:00*

I got a lot, lot done. I need to be focused all the time. The annoying thing is that if I would have started right when I got up, I would have gotten through all of it. I guess life happens. Luckily the last two items that I didn't get to should not be as time consuming. Hopefully I can get everything done tomorrow before the fitting. It is vital that I get this thing fitted so that I can finish it next week. Sorry about this post, it's more for me than anything else.
