Late night musings
I guess I haven't been posting too regularly. I'm exhausted after a pointless poshy networking thing with a lot of blahh and moneyed people. I guess at least I'm not one those scary, not quite trixies, not quite scenesters who are at an Africa benefit for no particular reason except to see and be seen, but then again how was I different being there, not knowing what I was forking cash over for, yet feeling good about myself while "networking" and knowing that I can write of the bill to a "bussiness expense". Gahh... I can kind of see how if you are around those people all the time, you eventually can become assymilated.
I must finish stuff for my fittings this week instead of wasting my time making new things to wear to stuped events. Also must book tickets so I can go see my weetzie girl.
My feet hurt 'cause I wore super hot and knubby/some-what-fluffy pointy mega heels purchased at hot show boutique that I could only afford because the were more than a 3/4 off and even then they were beyond belief way too expensive for me. I hope I can do ballet tomorrow.
Did I mention I started ballet? Well, I did along with Ms.242, I'm taking it twice a week. Mmmm; tough but fun, I can feel it working and I can't wait to really start seeing the benefits. Also on a whim I took my old figure skates to get stretched out (It's been a while and they feel way too tight now) and discovered that there is a Chicago Park District indoor rink a few minutes away that offers noon figure skating sessions three times a week. I might attempt it even though it may just make me sad.
