Waking up to birdsong is one of the best things about our flat. Especially in contrast to the horror that was waking up to building works at our last place.
In the places I've been in the states birds chirp. In Costa Rica they made interesting sounds and calls. But here, they are musical in a way I had no idea they could be. They really do sing. It is incredibly delightful! I love to lay in bed and just listen to them.
