What's the point
of appetizers? Since they have all those cooks back there, why don't they prioritize getting all of the food done at the same time, or take your order and just bring your food out whenever it is done? I think that is the way it used to be, which is why dessert came last, you have to give it time to bake and whatnot.
I am kicking ass in school, finally. I Aced the shit out of my Lab Sim Tuesday which consisted of:
-Tracheostomal broncial suctioning
-Running concurrent a piggyback IV medication along an existing primary line
-Insertion of nasogastric tube; bolus feeding and medication administration after insertion
-Assessment of descending colostomy site
-Wound assessment
-Administration of medication into saline lock IV push using needleless system
-Assessment of patient recieving multiple fluids through peripherally inserted central venous catheter
-Dosage calculations
-I & O of NPO pt. recieving parenteral nutrition. Pt had foley catheter, hemovac drainage system drainig hip wound, and secretions collected from lungs.
-Auscultate abnormal heart and lung sounds
-...and about 10 other things that weren't skills related
In NSG 101 we have quizes everyday, and I keep getting perfect scores on them. That's good in case you were wondering. The next test is Tuesday and it is going to be tough; renal drugs, glucocortico steroids, anti-anginals, anti-lipidemias, and a long ass list of drugs. Should be really swell. Speaking of swell, anti-inflammatories are on that one, too.
So have you heard? Some girl I wasn't sleeping with or kissing or firting with or taking out or anything is now husbandless because someone thought we were doing it! Grow the fuck up, people. Get a life so you aren't in mine.
