need a room, urgent.
I've been crashing with a friend and due to some just-came-up circumstances, i have to be out of here before Friday, so i'm looking for something, hoping to move in no later than the middle of next week ideally (after meeting up and looking at the place and all, of course, not expecting someone to commit to living with me just after reading an ad). I can probably crash with other people for a couple of days in the meantime, but i need a place soon.
Rent needs to be no more than $300, i need my own room, and i'm not in a position to sign a year-long lease at the moment (though i'm sure if i liked the place and it worked out, that would be considered if offered)/ so if you have a room open for a just a couple of months, that works as well, just let me know the situation.
It needs to be easily accessible (by bus) to downtown, and i'd prefer South Side, Oakland, or Squirrel Hill, but i'm not familiar enough with the city yet to know all the cheap-but-safe neighbourhoods i should consider, so if you think you have another good option, let me know.
I could post a bunch of babble about my personality, but i'm pretty easy to get along with and all, and i'm desperate for options so i'd rather see if anyone has a place and then we can chat on AIM or something for the details.
