Schools...
I am looking anywhere for a full time teaching job - I would LOVE to stay in the area or atleast PA (I have had interviews in VA though). My friend found schools called "Edison Schools" and there is one in Pgh. Has anyone ever heard of this school:
Renaissance Academy of Pittsburgh Alternative of Hope
120 South Whitfield Street
Is it a good-ish school? (I went to Penn Hills, so I concider that a 'not too bad' school)
Can anyone pinpoint the exact section of the city this is in? My friend placed the street in the Highland Park/Shadyside kind of area...
What kind of students does it attract? Does it take students that were kicked out of public schools?
Anything anyone can tell me about the school/area would be great!
