Area venue for a pro harp player this coming weekend?
Confluence, Pittsburgh's fan-run science fiction convention, is happening this coming weekend (July 22-24). The professional harpist that plays with Wild Mercy, an Indianapolis-based band that will be performing at the convention on Saturday afternoon, is keenly feeling the loss of the paying gigs she would otherwise have been able to schedule. She's wondering if there's any place in the Burgh where she could play, even for tips, at other times during the weekend. Any suggestions for a venue that might be available to her on such short notice?
