couch?

Can anyone recommend a local (greater pgh) place to get an affordable but decent couch? I was shocked at the prices at Roomfull Express, and am hoping someone has a better experience elsewhere. They don't even have to deliver, but I do want to sit on it before I buy it!

I'm 30 years old, and I've never bought a new couch - how sad!! Maybe I'm just having sticker shock from having never bought one before - what's the "average" price?
