Shiner Bock availability?

Anyone know of a local beer distributor that sells Shiner Bock? It's a beer from Texas, and only recently getting much distribution outside of that state.

Mellinger's in S. Oakland has it on their beer list. I would call and make sure they have it first.

Ah, thank you! I haven't been there in nearly a year, but I found a super-cheap case of really good bock from upstate New York there.

No Prob. What good is being a pseudo-alcoholic if i can't be useful with it. :)

I think I know the place. I'm in Brookline, so not very far away. Thanks!

McBroom in Regent Square usually has it.

I've been drinking Shiner since before teh interwebz and if it's gotten any worse over time I haven't noticed. Also don't know that the "export" is any better than what we had in-state when it comes to the bottles.

I bought some at a small-town supermarket in Illinois over Christmas, and was amazed to find it there. It seemed as good and as genuine as what I had during my six months in Texas, a few years ago. From the responses I'm getting, it sounds like it's definitely getting into this area, so I'll be making a run, quite soon.

Yeah, it's only in the last couple of years they started having it at the state stores.
